I don't think it's just my monitor, but I notice that in threads when someone quotes an individual who has used a spoiler tag that their text becomes colorized and you can now read the spoiler despite the black overlay.

Other people have had similar problems. I think it depends on what browser you use. I know i don't have this problem with Internet Explorer.

Mozilla makes the spoilers show up, it's rather annoying, but not as annoying as IE. So I go with the lesser of the two evils and stick with Mozilla.
I wouldn't mind knowing why the spoilers show up though...
