The video reveals a new cast member as well as the film's theme songs "Kakusei" (Awakening) and "Koori ni Tojikomete" (Imprisoned in Ice) by Superfly, The trailer previews "Kakusei":
The new cast member is Ryōka Yuzuki, who plays the character Biar Colossus. She is the secretary of Kray Foresight, the administrator of the Independent Republic of Promepolis and chief director of the Foresight Foundation. She is always with Kray, and carries out his orders swiftly.

Ken'ichi Matsuyama as Galo Thymos, a new member of the Burning Rescue team. He's still in his teens but has more attitude than anyone. He is a reckless meathead who runs headlong to the scene of a fire.
Taichi Saotome as Lio Fotia, the leader of Mad Burnish. Lio seems like someone who keeps their cool, but it's actually the opposite. Lio aims to burn everything with the power of a special flame called "Burnish Flare."
Masato Sakai as Kray Foresight, the administrator of the Independent Republic of Promepolis and chief director of the Foresight Foundation. He used to research fireproof building materials, but successfully developed an instant-freeze bullet that can put out a Burnish fire. Galo looks up to him.
Ayane Sakura as Aina Ardebit, a member of Burning Rescue who, like Galo, is in her teens. She is cool, calm, and professional at all times, and does things at her own pace. She plays the straight man to Galo and Varys.
Hiroyuki Yoshino as Remi Puguna, the vice-captain of Burning Rescue. He's a good-looking guy in his 20s, and he is as smart as he looks. He is an indispensable adviser to the captain Ignis.
Tetsu Inada as Varys Truss, a member of Burning Rescue, in charge of heavy machinery. He's a muscular guy in his 30s, and he's always training his body. He partners with the diminutive Lucia when out on a job.
Mayumi Shintani as Lucia Fex, a small mechanic at Burning Rescue. She handles the development and maintenance of Burning Rescue's equipment. She also constructed Galo's Matoi.
Rikiya Koyama as Ignis Ex, the captain of Burning Rescue, in his 30s. On missions he makes wise decisions and leads the other members. He trusts his team and they trust him.
Comedian Kendo Kobayashi as Vinny, a mouse with a helmet that lives at the national firefighting service FDPP, and the mascot of Burning Rescue. It usually follows Lucia around.
Actor and writer Kazuki Nakashima's fellow Gekidan Shinkansen troupe member Arata Furuta plays Deus Prometh, a mysterious scientist who has been researching Burnish for years on behalf of a United Nations research team. He holds an important key to the story.
Ami Koshimizu as Heris Ardebit, a young professor in the Foresight Foundation, and the older sister of Burning Rescue member Aina. She is devoted to the development of a particular project.
Taiten Kusonoki as Vulcan Haestus, the colonel of the Freeze Force, a paramilitary police force opposed to the Burnish. He does not look on Burning Rescue's vigilante actions favorably, and is constantly at odds with Ignis.
Nobuyuki Hiyama as Gueira, a member of Mad Burnish oriented around offense, and who conducts terrorist activities alongside Lio, who he calls "boss" and trusts with his life. He has a tattoo with the characters for "thunder" and "blade" on his collar bone.
Katsuyuki Konishi as Meis,a member of Mad Burnish oriented around speed, and who supports Lio alongside Guiera. He is a strategist, and the brains of the team. He has a tattoo with the characters for "wind" and "blade" on his left arm.
The website has revealed designs for Mad Burnish. Burnish are a race of flame-wielding beings that appeared suddenly in this world, and the Mad Burnish is an organization of Burnish.
The anime's protagonist is named Galo, a new recruit in a rescue team. The anime will have mechs called "Matoi-Tech," named after the "matoi" banners that Edo-period firefighting units used.
The staff previously mentioned that the anime will be similar in tone to Kill la Kill and Gurren Lagann — Imaishi and Nakashima's previous two collaborations.
