The staff of Final Fantasy Agito announced on Thursday that development on the PlayStation Vita game Final Fantasy Agito+ has been halted.
Square Enix announced the game in September 2014, but delayed the game indefinitely in October. Square Enix cited technical issues as reason for the delay.
Square Enix was planning to improve on features from the Final Fantasy Agito smartphone game for Final Fantasy Agito+. The free-to-play smartphone version launched in Japan in May 2014 and will end service in November. Square Enix plans to announce more details on the "rebirth" of Final Fantasy Agito at Tokyo Game Show this weekend.
The smartphone game was slated for release in English. Square Enix announced in May that it would release the game on Windows 10.
