The official U.S. PlayStation blog announced on Tuesday that the Western release of Sega's Yakuza 5 (Ryū ga Gotoku 5) game will include all the DLC released for the Japanese version of the game. This will include the "Another Drama" DLC, which are extensive sub-plots that focus on each of the game's five protagonists.
Yakuza 5 was originally released in Japan for the PlayStation 3 in December 2012. Sega will release the game in the West digitally this fall. Those who pre-order the game digitally on the PlayStation Store will receive a Yakuza 5 "Fulfiller of Dreams" static theme for the PlayStation 3.
Sega also began streaming the third and final video in its "Welcome to the World of Yakuza" developer interview series. In the video, Yakuza series General Director Toshihiro Nagoshi and Producer Masayoshi Yokoyama discuss the game's music, the game's Western release, and the game's themes.
Sega describes the game:
Yakuza 5 continues the epic story of Kazuma Kiryu alongside four other protagonists, following their struggles and conflicts in the seedy underbelly of Japan's Yakuza underworld. Featuring a new graphics engine versus its predecessor, Yakuza 5 takes players to five major Japanese cities to venture through a life of crime and power.
