Jinsei Light Novel Series Ends With 10th Volume
posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Shogakukan's listing of the 10th volume of Ougyo Kawagishi's Jinsei (La Bonne Vie) light novel series confirms that it will be the final volume. Shogakukan will ship the 10th novel on March 18. Kawagishi launched the series in 2012 with art by Meruchi Nanase.
The story centers around Yūki Akamatsu, a boy who joins the staff of his school's second newspaper. The editor-in-chief Ayaka Nikaidō immediately assigns him to the life (Jinsei) advice column. Three girls — the science representative Rino Endō, the liberal arts representative Fumi Kujō, and the physical education representative Ikumi Suzuki — answer requests from students about whatever is troubling them. The three girls, however, can never agree on anything, so Yūki must mediate between them to choose the best advice.
The light novel series inspired a 13-episode television anime series of the same name last year. Keiichiro Kawaguchi (Hayate the Combat Butler, Zettai Karen Children, Hunter × Hunter -The Last Mission-) directed the series at studio feel.
